Let me share some of my tips on how I've been practicing my back walkover.
- Make sure you stretch your back. Doing back-bends everyday will help.
- Stretch your splits! If you have a good split in the air, it'll be easier to reach for the ground.
- Practice your kick. A strong kick equals a good walkover! Push off one good leg and reach with the other.
- Kicking off objects will help you get the motion of "going over". Use a small table, a box, or even the wall to help you go over.
- As you get better, find smaller objects to kick over (smaller table, going lower on the wall)
