Hello Everyone!
So today I'm going to talk about your core muscles and why they are so important.
To start off, your core muscles are the center of everything. These muscles balance you, so if your a flyer, you need to have a strong core to pull up in the air.
Also, if your a tumble, having a good core will increase power and balance while tumbling.
I had a lot of trouble getting a strong core, but after doing a few simple exercises, you'll see a big difference!
One exercise that gives you a strong core is the plank, hold it for 30 second, take a break, then start again. Increase the amount of repetitions as time goes.
Another really famous core strengthening exercise is crunches/sit-ups! This one is really self-explanatory.
There is this workout routine that my all star gym uses and I think you can get it on youtube, I'm not sure but it's called "Six Minute Abs". Really great workout and you'll get a strong core in no time!
